Cooler Master Debuts the World’s First Analog Keypad (via Kickstarter)
Alright first this, I don't get it? Why does a company with plenty enough cash flow need to create cash flow from a Kickstarter in the first place? Anyway, they announce the debut of ControlPad, the world’s first PC keypad with analog Aimpad technology, designed for gamers, content creators, musicians, and more.
ControlPad harbors 24 mechanical keys available in Cherry MX Red or Gateron Red. It’s fully programmable through easy to use software, has a removable wrist rest for ultimate comfort, two precision scroll wheels, is fully RGB backlit, and is finished in sleek brushed aluminum. ControlPad is equipped with Aimpad™ technology that provides mechanical keyboards the precision control most commonly found in devices such as aviation joysticks, steering wheels, and gaming controllers enabling analog control in digital inputs.
ControlPad for Gaming
Enabling analog control in digital inputs, Aimpad™allows users to control speed, yaw, adjust pitch, creep, and roll. During driving games use Aimpad™ to make smooth turns on the fly or ease into gentle curves by simply changing the distance of the keypress.
ControlPad for Creative Professionals
ControlPad can be used to make production and editing applications more intuitive and useful on-the-fly. Apply presets, switch tools, adjust opacity, thickness, brush size while applying, and more with just the pressure sensitive inputs of your ControlPad.
Cooler Master implemented macro presets and control schemes for several notable video games - and popular applications for consumer and professional use. This includes actions, hotkeys, and shortcuts for the entire Adobe Suite, including PhotoShop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, and more - with more on the way if demand follows. Additionally, Cooler Master will also offer special keycap sets to match said presets.
ControlPad is available for backing on Kickstarter.

To see if there's any genuine interest for such a product. Cheap marketing as well.
Same thoughts here.

I have really old gaming/work/... pad from Saitek...

Does not have analog "mousepad", but has joystick. And is fully programmable. That includes assigning macro to different analog ranges.
Top key row placement was not the best as shape made them hard to reach.
This CM unit does not seem to be very comfortable. And if we excuse mechanical keys, there are better gaming pads available.

this one has pressure sensitive keys, like analog stick on a gamepad, does yours do that?

Are we talking abut the same thing? pressure sensitive keys that could gradually steer the wheel in a driving game like analog joystick/gamepad/wheel would do?
I am not trying to pick a fight, am just curious since I never seen this kind of "analog" keyboard keys, and my first (DOS) PC was 486 DXII.
