Cooler Master CM Storm QuickFire Ultimate Gaming Keyboard
Cooler Master, an industry leading case, thermal solution, gaming gear, and mobile accessory manufacturer, announced the release of its newest keyboard: QuickFire Ultimate. Cooler Master has taken all the features of previous QuickFire keyboards and added enhancements. The result is the QuickFire Ultimate - the most feature packed mechanical gaming keyboard in the QuickFire line. The QuickFire Ultimate is a full sized, steel-reinforced, completely backlit mechanical gaming keyboard.
Enhancing the features which the previous keyboards in the QuickFire lineup sport, the full-sized, steel-reinforced, full-backlit gaming keyboard employs the Cherry MX Red, Blue, or Brown switches that are rated for over 50 million key strokes. Key caps are laser-marked with a non-glossy coating to improve tactile response and eliminate fading.
On top of full LED backlights in 5 brightness levels (3 modes to toggle for backlighting selected keys), the keyboard features the essential Windows lock key, N-key rollover in USB mode, so every single key press is registered, and seven multimedia shortcuts to change settings on-the-fly. It also comes with a durable, gold plated, braided USB cable.Stay tuned for the pricing and availability of the QuickFire Ultimate.
Quality That Lasts
High quality Cherry MX switches means faster key presses and response times. Select from 3 different Cherry MX switches: red, blue or brown. These long-lasting switches are rated for over 50 million key strokes. The key caps are laser-marked and have a non-glossy coating to improve tactile response and eliminate fading. An embedded steel plate gives the Ultimate maximum stability and durability. A gold plated, braided USB cable and routing management groove maintains a strong link between keyboard and PC.
Your Gaming Command Center
QuickFire Ultimate has full LED backlights with 5 brightness levels. 3 modes can be toggled so only select keys will be on. N-key roll over in USB mode means every single key press is registered. 7 easy access multimedia shortcuts let you change settings on-the-fly.

I own a CM Storm Trigger for over a year now and it's by far the best keyboard I ever had. I'm curious if they will do a refresh on that one.

This Ultimate edition looks quite promising, since I'm missing some buttons on the TK

Nice keyboard, I have the TK version, but their support is beyond terror. They gave me the wrong shipping address for RMA twice in a row. Once to the wrong country and once to a place which is not even an RMA partner with them. Also the RMAs they send are refurbs, I sent in the keyboard due to a dead/dying LEDs and got one that was 30 times more used than my own which was like new.
Sending out used keyboards seriously? That's a deal breaker right there.

The original QuickFire is probably one of the best and affordable mechanical keyboards on the market.
Will be interesting to see how much "ultimate" changes on the pricetag.
