Cooler Master A71C is a dedicated AMD CPU cooler with ARGB fan, looking round and unique

Cooler Master will offer a for the top-flow CPU cooler called A71C (RR-A71C-18PA-R1), a cooler dedicated to AMD Socket AM4 and equipped with addressable RGB fan.

The cooling fan to be mounted, is a round fan with a diameter of 120 mm and a thickness of 25 mm, it incorporates an addressable RGB LED. The illumination can be adjusted with the attached controller or the control software on the corresponding motherboard.

The heat sink is made of aluminum and has a copper core in the center. The direct contact specification that directly contacts the CPU improves cooling performance. The main specifications are rotation speed 650 to 1,800 rpm ± 10%, maximum noise value 24.9dBA, maximum air volume 38.99CFM ± 10%, maximum static pressure 1.2mmH2O ± 10%. The bearing is a rifle bearing, and the fan life (MTTF) is 280,000 hours (L-10 LIFE is 40,000 hours). The connector shape is 4-pin and supports PWM control. The external dimensions are 120 mm in diameter and 60 mm in height. 2-year product warranty. Prices are to be announced.

lucky one, on the 200 serie it was the same as in the AM3 entry level... noisy, not efficient etc etc... replaced by a passive one: total silent, more cool, and with space for OC, not expensive...
AMD should have old stock of those fan, i don't see any reason to use it with the Athlon G.
The worst stock HSF I've ever seen came with my Athlon 5350. It was obnoxiously loud and barely managed to cool the processor. I skipped AM3 as a whole. Never got to experience those coolers. I've never been a fan of stock coolers. The unit packaged with the 3000G is fairly acceptable though. It's in an SFF case and can pull air from outside. Seems to be doing the job quite well so far, with minimal noise. Even ramped up, it's barely noticeable over the PSU fan. If it becomes noisy later, I'll swap it for something from Arctic Cooling just like I did the Athlon 5350.
