Computex 2017 Scoop: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z

It is time for a couple of pre-computex scoops. First stop, check out the new MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z. Indeed, a Z editiion. The card will get high clocks, a Mystic LED treatement and quad-volatage options. The baseclock of the card will run 1582 MHz with a 1695 boost frequency.

You will notice that it has no less than three 8-pin power connectors, likely you can use the card with using just the first two. New is a triple slot cooler (Tri-Frozr cooler) with white lightning elements. Yes, MSI indeed has stepped away from the black design. The memory by the way will clock in at an effective data-rate of 11120 MHz. With MSI Gaming sftware you may select a "Lightning" mode that runs a proper 1607 MHz core, 1721 MHz GPU Boost, and 11.112 GHz memory.

More news will follow. Oh and thank gawd for a proper camera on my Galaxy S7. That moment when you want to take a photo with your DSLR and realize .. hey the battery is still in the charger in the hotel right? :-)

Those Fans are probably just as quiet as on the Arctic Accelero Coolers, as they are the same design.

Nice looking card.
