Computex 2017: MSI Graphics Cards and X299

In this item we'll move on over towards the booth of MSI, and we have some goods to show you. MSI as ever has big booth showcasing their hardware. There are lots of Series 200 motherboards on display and the focus seems to be the gaming lineup, also EK Aluminum cooled VGA cards and a very dandy Lighting when it is powered up.

Obviously on the graphics card side there is lots to show from the new Radeon range as well as a nice variety of GeForce GTX graphics cards. Graphics card wise you'll spot the new Gaming X and Z cards from MSI (Z versions have the highest clocks / RGB and backplate), and if you look closely at the photos you will notice some new GeForce GTX  1080 Ti models as well.  Indeed, that is the 1080 Ti Lightning. It has been a while since MSI released one (980 Ti). We actually know about the new 1080 Ti lightning for a while now, as hey we design MSI AfterBurner. The new Lightning gets its new looks and this round will come with quad-voltage options.

I also was able to get snag some photos of the latest Sea Hawk iteration as well as the EK water-block based one. Also the Armor series is on display which are the more budget friendly. In the photos you'll also notice the latest iteration of SLI Pascal compatible SLI bridges as well as coolers from MSI. Again motherboards wise you will see a number of updated Z270 and sure, X299 as well.

At the show, MSI has a variety of new products on display including its refreshed gaming laptop roster: the GT75VR, GS63/73VR and GE63/73VR series; the latest X299 GAMING M7 ACK, X299 GAMING PRO CARBON AC and X299 TOMAHAWK motherboards; the beefy Infinite A and Trident Arctic gaming desktops; and new accessories including: Clutch GM70 gaming mouse, Vigor GK80 gaming keyboard and Core Frozr XL CPU cooler. In addition to the hotly-anticipated Intel X299 platform releases and action-packed gaming rigs, MSI has full booth entirely dedicated to its “Next Gaming Dimension” theme. The main attraction of the booth includes a "VR motion simulator," an interactive and highly-entertaining racing simulator area that provides a realistic VR experience to visitors.

GT75VR: with RGB Mechanical keyboard

The top-tier GT75VR comes with 3 GPU options: GeForce® GTX 1080/GTX 1070 SLI/GTX 1070, letting mobile gamers enjoy near-desktop performance, plus an Intel® CoreTM i7 7820HK CPU with over 4GHz overclocking capability. The power-packed muscle machine features its SteelSeries rapid RGB mechanical with customizable Per-Key RGB illumination and a diamond-shaped palm rest. Moreover, GT75VR laptops sports amazing features and specs like MSI True Color Technology 2.0, Nahimic VR, MSI unique 120Hz Display of HDR color and HDR video editing, and Cooler Boost Titan.

MSI is also expanding its Gaming Desktop line up with the MSI Infinite series. The design of Infinite case boasts elements of electric circuitry traces on the front side, which can be customized with RGB colors via MSIs Mystic Light software. Infinite also features a side panel made of transparent tempered glass, adding to Infinites modern design and allowing gamers to glance at the hardware inside. Looking at the heart of this gaming beast, Infinite A tackles any challenging game by equipping MSI  own award winning MSI GAMING graphics card. To support its endurance during transportation and cooling efficiency while gaming, the GAMING graphics card is installed vertically. Also housing Intel’s latest Intel® Core i7 or i5 processor, MSI Infinite A is destined to provide beyond game-worthy performances.

X299 GAMING M7 ACK

Designed for gamers and PC enthusiasts who crave for extreme performance, the X299 GAMING M7 ACK is nothing short of spectacular. Featuring the 10+1+1 phase DigitALL premium power design with Loadline Calibration and MSI’s Turbo Socket, the new M7 is ready to challenge extreme overclockers to push it to the limit. With MSI’s new built-in M.2 thermal solution, patent-pending M.2 Shield FROZR tech, you never have to worry about your fast PCI-Express based M.2 SSD to start throttling, lowering down performance. Killer™ Double Shot PRO allows the 2x Killer E2500 Ethernet connectors and the Killer™ 1535 Wi-Fi adapter to work together for optimal online gameplay.

X299 TOMAHAWK

The new X299 TOMAHAWK illustrates the evolution of the next generation of MSI motherboards.
