Computex 2015: ASUS GTX 980 Ti STRIX DirectCU III (updated)

(Updated photo) - So I missed the Computex ASUS press conference as I was still mid-air on-route to Taiwan, but they announced a number things. I should have more photo's later today. Anyhow, they announced the ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Ti cards DirectCU III and Poseidon cards.

ASUS will launch the STRIX GTX 980 Ti that in this round comes with an updated third-gen triple-fan DirectCU cooling solution. Currently I am lacking details and info, the press-releases still need to arrive.

How fast? See for yourself using GPU Tweak II.
How cool? Exclusive new DirectCU III technology cool.
What’s the armor for? Super Alloy Power II Components on a card made by AUTO-EXTREME Technology.
Don't hear it coming? Nope, the 0dB fan feature is in effect.

ASUS STRIX GTX 980 Ti is the answer you're looking for.

If possible photo's will be made later today, for now here's a funky photo released on the web. BTW in other new ASUS will also release a pliquid cooled version, the Poseidon. Pictures of this card aren't available yet.

ROG Poseidon GTX 980 Ti incorporates the DirectCU H2O hybrid cooling solution with a combined vapor chamber and water channels to give users cooler temperatures along with improved noise reduction for 3x quieter performance. ASUS graphics cards are produced via exclusive Auto-Extreme technology, an industry-first 100% automated process, and feature aerospace-grade Super Alloy Power II components for unsurpassed quality and reliability. ROG Poseidon GTX 980Ti also features GPU Tweak II with XSplit Gamecaster for intuitive performance tweaks and gameplay streaming.

I've added a photo of the cards and also some niche liquid cooler examples that can be setup with the GTX 980 Ti.

Try Witcher 3 with max settings. I've been holding out on an upgrade for months. 980Ti would hit the spot, unless AMD's new card delivers something similar without cooking itself to death.
