Colorful you know from their 'unique' graphics card designs and motherboards. the company is mostly targeted at Asia and part of Chaintec. They are making a new step in hardware, the move towards SSDs.

In the initial product line they will offer three product, a regular 2.5" SSD and two M2 units:

CN 600 240 G is an NVMe M.2 2280 SSD corresponding that apparently can be tied towards a PCI-Express 2.0 (x4) connection. The controller is new, a realtek RTS 5760. NAND flash obviously is TLC and the unit is fitted with a heat-spreader. You probably will have guessed it from the PCIE 2.0 spec, this won;t be th fastest M2 unit on the globe, it offers a nice 800 MB / sec for sequential reading and 700 MB / sec for writing. The SSD is rated at 50K IOPS for random reading, 100K IOPS for writing. The external dimension is W24 × D84 × H5 mm, weighs about 15 g. MTBF is 1.5 million hours, product warranty is 1 year.

The CN 500 240 G is next in line, the M.2 2280 SSD supports, and I did check this info three times: a single SATA 3.0 (6 Gbps) connection. The controller in use comes from Silicon Motion SM2246EN, the NAND flash actually is MLC written. Tied towards SATA3 the sequential read perf is 530 MB / sec, with writes at 250 MB / sec. IOPS are in the 60~70K ranges. The external dimension is W22 × D80 × H 2.3 mm, weighs about 6 g. MTBF is 1.5 million hours, product warranty is 1 year.

Then finally they will out a 2.5" SSD under the tag SL 500 240 G. This one obviously has a SATA 3.0 (6 Gbps) connection. The controller again is the Silicon Motion SM 2256 this round however with TLC flash NAND. Transfer speed sequential reads are  530 MB / sec, writes are 450 MB / sec. It offers random reads of 80,000 IOPS, and writes at 80,000 IOPS. The external dimensions are W69 × D100 × H 7 mm, weight about 52 g. MTBF is 1.5 million hours, product warranty is 1 year.
