@Hilbert Hagedoorn CTR is awesome. But I wonder if it is possible to do a CHECK before the CTR starts working, just like the BIOS does. I upgraded from a 5600x to a 5800x yesterday and I only remembered to turn off autorun, but as soon as I turned on CTR, my CPU died after about 5 seconds. Now I have to run RMA.

Don't see how 5600x settings could kill a 5800x and to RMA something you broke is not right.

There is no way CTR killed your CPU , even you would apply max voltage which is also limited . Most likely your CPU was DOA or something else happend.
You cleared CMOS ?

Yes, I did. All settings should be AUTO.
I don't think My 5600x's P2 with 1370mv/4700 was too high to 5800x.
(EDC PPT TDC are default, max temp is 90)

I don't see either.
If this value is a reasonable overclocking range, and CTR does not adjust some hidden values/settings,
that is, the CPU is damaged under normal operation. Doesn't it?
