So first off, the review was posted March 30, so it doesn't look to be an Aprils fools joke, That said photos of the processors have been taken as well. While it will take a while before we see Intel Comet Lake-S processors, a review revealed the performance of four models: The Intel Core i7-10700, i5-10600K, i5-10500, and i5-10400.

These processors were tested on a Dell OEM B460 motherboard with 2933MHz memory which is the official JEDEC maximum and were compared against other recent processors from both AMD and Intel. The original author notes that being an engineering sample, the tested Core i7-10700 is 100MHz slower than the final model, so the final version should perform a little better.

Between models on the same line, we see performance leaps in Cinebench R15. The Core i7-10700 performs 37% more than the i7-9700K, while the i5-10600K performs 33% more than the i5-9600K. However, neither the i7-10700 outperforms the Ryzen 7 3700X nor the i5-10600K outperforms the Ryzen 5 3600X, its competitors on the AMD side.

In Cinebench R20, the i7-10700 again exceeds the i7-9700K by 37%, while the i5-10600K exceeds the i5-9600K by 27%. Here the i7-10700 if it surpasses the Ryzen 7 3700X, but the i5-10600K is still behind the Ryzen 5 3600X.

The consumption of these chips is extremely high compared to AMD. For example, the i7-10700 consumes 176W compared to 91W for the Ryzen 7 3700X, consuming almost twice as much.
