CES: Patriot to release new NAS

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/08/2010 06:11 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

After the first attempt of creating a NAS unit with the Corza, Patriot now is working on a massively improved NAS unit. Support for four drives, silent, much faster and great performance are keywords here. The new NAS unit will be called stronghold and comes with an Intel Atom processor. All wide ranges of RAID up-to 10 are supported and well overall the device is slowly starting to look more like Promise's and QNAP product. Check it out, should be interesting though as Patriot product nearly always are affordable.

Patriot is also working on a new 2-bay model called Valkyrie ..
