CEBIT - Corsair shows Heatpipe CPU Coolers

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 03/06/2010 03:39 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

Corsair was already active in water-cooling but now they've also added two aircooling products to their lineup; the Air Series A70 and A50. The A70 measures 159.5mm x 124.6mm x 129mm and features two 120mm fans with an airflow of 50-61CFM, at a noise level of 26 to 31.5dBA. The heatsink features four 8mm copper direct-touch heatpipes and lots of aluminum fins.

The A50 cooler is a smaller version of the A70, it measures 159.5mm x 124.6mm x 81.2mm, has only three 8mm heatpipes and ships with one 120mm fan. Other than that, the specifications are pretty much the same. Both coolers ship with mounting tools for Intel LGA775/1156/1366 and AMD Socket AM2/AM3 processors. Pricing and availability is unknown.
