Cashback action for motherboards and Intel procs at Gigabyte

Gigabyte announced a new cashback campaign that actually might be worthwhile looking into. When purchasing a selected Z270 motherboard, users can get a maximum of 85 Euro return, depending on the combination and purchase.

Only products purchased up-to November 11th 2017 will be eligible for this action. You could receive up to €80 cashback when you buy select GIGABYTE/AORUS motherboards with select Intel processors.

This offer is available on select Gigabyte/Aorus Z270 motherboards when bought together with Intel Core i3-7350K, i5-7600K, i7-7700K processors. To qualify for the promotion, products have to have be purchased between 28th August - 11th November, 2017. If you bought a Z270 chipset motherboard with Intel processor they are also offering up to €85 cashback when you also buy Intel Optane memory too.

The following list shows the eligible combinations, including the corresponding cashback amounts. More information, as well as the exact terms of action, can be found on the Gigabyte action page.

Why would Giga care whether I buy just their mobo or mobo+CPU. $80 care no less!!

This sounds like one of those Intel's incentives. Not saying it is.

This coincides with Intel offering a game bundle with their CPUs to move old stock.

Intel gives chipsets for free to Giga and they offer rebates if u buy an Intel CPU. That way Intel "is not paying" in cash like on IBM case (?)

Seriously, there's little room for different interpretations here xD

I made similar deal with my Asus Z97+4690K combo, worked out fine.

This looks like a good offer aswell, tho i wouldnt be interrested in a gigabyte motherboard after the horror stories on poor component quality i come across.

I thought they were giving money back to the buyers of entry level motherboards after they changed components for lower quality ones.
