It's now that game streaming cannot be popular, it's the segmentation of too many streaming services being the culprit if you ask me, too many is too much. The games of Activision Blizzard are no longer available on GeForce NOW, the game streaming service of chipmaker NVIDIA that became available to all users at the beginning of February.

The games, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Overwatch, have been removed at the publisher's request, NVIDIA reports on its website. The streaming service NVIDIA  maker allows users to play games via servers. Gamers therefore do not necessarily need hardware with a lot of computing power. The system also allows them to play games that they have not purchased.

Why Activision Blizzard no longer offers its games on GeForce NOW is unclear. NVIDIA sticks to the statement that the publisher has asked for it and says it is "a pity". Game streaming is a new market where, in addition to NVIDIA, Google and Microsoft are also betting. According to research firm Statista, the market will grow to 8 billion dollars (7.3 billion euros) in the coming five years.
