Broadcom announces 6GHz band support & Wi-Fi 7 compatible solution with up to double bandwidth
Broadcom announced Wi-Fi 7 solutions, including the SoC BCM67263 for access points that support Wi-Fi 7 of the next-generation wireless LAN standard.
"BCM67263" is the most recent Wi-Fi 7 compliant SoC, designed primarily for residential Wi-Fi access points. It supports the new 6GHz band and more than doubles the bandwidth to 320MHz. It supports 4,096 QAM modulation and a maximum PHY data rate of 11.5 Gbps, as well as Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which allows multiple connections to be maintained across multiple bands.
The "BCM6726" is a Wi-Fi 7 compliant SoC designed for residential Wi-Fi access points, as previously stated. The band supports 6GHz, 5GHz, and 2.4GHz frequencies, with a bandwidth of up to 160MHz. The PHY data rate is up to 5.75 Gbps, and it supports 4,096 QAM modulation as well as MLO.
The latest Wi-Fi 7 compliant SoC designed for enterprise Wi-Fi access points is the "BCM43740." It can operate in the 6GHz / 5GHz / 2.4GHz bands, with a bandwidth of up to 160MHz and a PHY data rate of up to 11.5Gbps.
As previously stated, the "BCM43720" is a Wi-Fi 7 compliant SoC designed for enterprise Wi-Fi access points. It can operate in the 6GHz / 5GHz / 2.4GHz bands, with a bandwidth of up to 160MHz and a PHY data rate of up to 2.88Gbps. In addition, the "BCM43740" and "BCM43720" support 4,096 QAM modulation and MLO.

What do you mean? My mobo has 10GbE and most new higher end ones have at least 2.5 or 5., 10GbE switches are readily available for under £200 now and several Routers now support it too. It's easy to retrofit with a PCIe card for under £100 to pretty much any PC from the last 15 years.

Totally agree with this, especially that 10G internet is becoming very cheap. 10 euro for

Maybe in your country. Here in Germany, a real fiber connection (FTTH) with 1000/200 Mbit (Down/Up) costs for example 79,95€ (And is almost nowhere available too).
Alternative is a cable connection up to 1000/50 Mbit (Down/Up) which costs between 30-40€ however this one is crap as usually you end up with low bandwidth at peak times duo to over usage. (Shared links)

In respect of internet, Germany has always been a bit of a 3rd world country compared to other European countries. Heck, internet infrastructures in Germany couldn't even handle Netflix during lock-down and had to force restrictions for it to not crumble, whereas most EU countries didn't have any major issues.
Another thing I found amusing about Germany: terrible 4G coverage even today (not even talking about 5G).

Over 10gbit of theoritical throughput. Well. Wi-Fi has come this fast but you can't find 10gbit ethernet ports to save your life. (I mean, by default. AFAIK, only most recent Macs has got that...)
