BIOSTAR's Z690A-SILVER mid-range motherboard uses 70A Dr.MOS stages for its power supply circuit.

70A Dr.MOS stages are paired with a driver IC into a single chip, "digital PWM" swiftly delivers the power required by the CPU, low ESR, and general solid-state. High-quality components are employed, such as "Super Durable Solid Caps," which have double the life of capacitors and a "Super Durable Inductor," which has minimal energy loss and a high power capacity. A huge aluminum heat sink with a two-block design is also fitted for cooling. The major specs include DDR4-5000 + x4 (maximum 128GB) memory slot, SATA3.0 (6Gbps) x8, M.2 (PCI-Exppress4.0x4) x1, M.2 (PCI-Exppress3.0x4 / SATA3.0) x1, expansion slot is PCI-Express5.0 (x16) x1, PCI-Express4.0 (x4 / x16 form) x1, PCI-Express3.

The audio chip is Realtek ALC1220, the network is Realtek RTL8125B 2.5 gigabit LAN, and an antenna connector for the wireless card and M.2 2230 (card and antenna supplied separately) are also available.
