BenQ to release GW2765HT Gaming 27" IPS Monitor
BenQ is set to release a new Gaming 27" IPS Monitor, the monitor will sell under product name GW2765HT. It is a nice size 27" that has an IPS panel at a 2560 x 1440 resolution. The monitor maex out at a 60Hz refresh rate though. For IPsd the panel is very fast at an advertised 4ms G2G response time .
The screen offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07b colour depth and 100% sRGB coverage from its W-LED backlight. It is part of BenQ's Flicker Free range of course which is good news.
The monitor also comes with Low Blue Light mode and a fully adjustable stand with tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments offered. There are D-sub, DL-DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI video connections offered. There are also integrated 2x 1W stereo speakers and an audio in and out connection.

60hz is not qualified as 'gaming'. A general use maybe.

Refresh rate isnt a deal breaker though. I rarely use vsync.
Id love to get it and use it as my main monitor and two 25inch 1080p on the side for mixed eyefinity.
But maybe a 21:9 2560x1080 would work better with 2 1920x1080 monitors?
