BenQ today launched EW277HDR video enjoyment monitor, combining advanced Vertical Alignment (VA) panels with brightness, resolution, eye-care, and audio enhancement technologies specifically engineered to provide unparalleled video viewing quality.
Maximizing the popularity of latest HDR entertainment content, EW277HDR leverages VA panel technology with high 3000:1 native contrast, wide color gamut reaching 93% of cinematic DCI-P3 color space, and 400-nit enhanced brightness to deliver immersive multimedia enjoyment, safeguarded by industry-leading eye care and modern design. This is a 1920x1080 panel.

It's a mainstream monitor. No point having a fancy monitor if nobody can afford it!
True, although with a computer you are sitting a lot closer to it than a TV. If it's too bright it doesn't make for good long gaming sessions particularly in a darkened room.

I was a little excited until I read it's a 27" 1080p monitor.. Every >25" 1080p monitor I've seen, the colors look washed out because of the low pixel density.
