BenQ EW3270U 31.5-Inch 4K HDR LCD Monitor
BenQ released their latest 31.5-inch 4K HDR LCD monitor, the EW3270U. Equipped with the latest eye care technology ‘Brightness Intelligence Plus’ (BI+) – senses ambient brightness and color temperature, and automatically adjusts display settings.
the new 31.5-inch VA LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and provides 3000:1 contrast ratio (20 million: 1 DCR), 300 cd/m2 brightness, 9ms response time (4ms GTG) and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Be aware, the monitor is tagged with HDR, but at 300 cd/m² that's what I called 'Fake HDR' in the past, the better word likely is HDR capable.

So are companies using HDR to mean 10 bit panels instead of actual HDR which requires extra nits? 300 seems a low value for brightness.

can we get clarification/explanation why +30" displays are not 120 and 240Hz refresh rates... except those produced in South Korea?
btw ? us$500, 800, or 1200 retail ? weight ? display port 1.4 was published two years ago... 32.4 vs 48 Gb/s (in hdmi 2.1 [2017.01.04 for 8k res @ 50Hz) , dp 1.2 is nine years old (09.12.22) and is only 17 Gb/s, dp1.3 (14.09.15) HBR3 mode was 32 Gb/s enough for 4k uhd @ 120 Hz.

Big TV's do have higher nits but then you are also several meters further away.
I'm not sure if it's viable with a monitor to have such strong brightness so close to your face.
60Hz....
Guess you have to buy the $2500 screen then. If you have hardware to push those frames :p
