Battlefield V Will be Free from loot boxes or Premium Passes

The official Twitter account for Battlefield V has revealed some new details about Battlefield V. According to the developers, this latest Battlefield game won’t feature loot boxes or a Premium Pass, meaning that all players will have access to the same maps and modes.

The WW shooter will be released on October 19th and takes place in a Second World War theme. Good to know it that there will not be any premium passes and DLCs to purchase, the pay-to-win design is gone, which has now been re-confirmed.

This time, at release, yes. Still not sure if they will make any DLCs that require you to pay again (at least, until they give them away for free a year later). I guess they have learned that more DLCs "split up" the player base, although imho the best maps always have been on release (or in the Back To Karkhand pack :D)

Wonder if the game will be more expensive this time?
