Battlefield V PC System Requirements

Battlefield V PC System Requirements

EA has released the minimum system requirements for PC for Battlefield V, which is a bit early. From the looks of it, nothing much has changed specs wise though.

EA's official Origin page for Battlefield V game shows the minimum requirements to be an AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5-6600K CPU paired with 8GB of RAM and either a Radeon HD 7850 2GB or Geforce GTX 660 2GB graphics card. The game should work on 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 OS and needs 50GB of storage space.

Of course, running the game at higher graphical settings would require somewhat more spicy hardware. Interesting is that Battlefield V’s PC system requirements are nearly identical to Battlefield 1.

Minimum PC system requirements

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
  • Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
  • Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
  • DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
  • Hard-drive space: 50GB

Battlefield V is going to launch October 19 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Deluxe Edition owners will gain early access on October 16, Origin Access and EA Access subscribers will receive a Play First trial on October 11. Moreover, those who pre-order will receive open beta access sometime before launch.

This could mean two things: Either EA has drastically improved their techniques and can squeeze more out of the same computing power.
Or, and this is what i presume: EA has polished the engine a little bit and didn;t spend too much on upgrading. This would mean that gameplay will be very similar to BF1 i suppose.

Why would they spend money when they could just roll out the same engine and just slap a coat of paint on it

Same specs as BF1. Which where slightly higher than needed because my sons PC has a 6300 FX and a 970 on a 75hz 24" 1080p monitor with V-sync on and does get 75 fps mostly.

Can't they write? "512 KBPS"
So, is it kBps, kbps, KiBps, ... ?
