Battlefield V: new trailer and Betas at Gamescom

EA and DICE will be showing a beta version of Battlefield V for the first time at Gamescom next week, producer David Sirland has shared via Twitter. Later today there will be a new trailer we can all tune in in to.

According to Sirland's tweet, the progress of the Gamescom version, aka Open Beta, is clearly noticeable compared to Closed Alpha. Yesterday the second alpha phase for early players started. To get you into the mood for the Gamescom demo, the new strailer will be up tomorrow at 4pm (CEST), the trailer is titled "The Devastation of Rotterdam ". Gamescom 2018 will start on August 21 for trade visitors and will be open to everyone from August 22nd.

The final version of Battlefield V will be released on October 19, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This only applies to the "Standard Edition", the "Deluxe Edition" will be playable from the 16th of October. If you own EA Access, you will be able to try a limited "Play First Trial" on October 11th.

What is this feeling.... I used to love the series but no longer find any excitement from it... it's a weird feeling.

Battlefield has gone downhill ever since BF 2. Not interrested in the series anymore. EA know how to f*ck up any good title.

I feel the same. Hell Let Loose or or maybe Post Scriptum are way more appealing to me.

At least Battlefield V won't be as buggy as PS and it seems to suffer from the same performance issues as Squad does.
