Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new multiplayer gameplay trailer for Battlefield 5. According to its description, and for the first time ever in Battlefield, players will be able to assemble a customized collection of soldiers, weapons, and vehicles, and take them on a journey through World War 2.

The game doesn't seem to be politically correct enough. Even though we did see face closeup of a black person and asian person, I didn't see a single transgender character. And barely any women.

So does this mean Battlefield is like the Star Trek movies, where all the odd-numbered ones suck?

Actually, BF1942 (which I guess would technically be 1, not to be confused with Battlefield 1) was pretty awesome for the time. It was the first PC game (maybe the first game on any platform) with a sandbox-style map featuring combat on land, air, and in the sea, so big props to that. But Battlefield 1 sucks, so maybe the rule still applies to some extent :p

I really don't get the point of BF anymore. All that MP grinding just for the next one to be announced. It would have to have a decent SP for me to even consider it.
