AVEXIR E100 SSDs Launches

AVEXIR (yes the ones from the LED memory)  have launched a new line of SSDs called E100. The units are slim 2.5-inch 7mm thick SSDs (120GB, 240GB and 480GB sizes) are built with Toshiba 15nm Triple-Level Cell (TLC) NAND Flash memory chips.

The E100 has a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a powerful ECC engine correction function (up to 72bit/1KB), TRIM support, SMART support and an MTBF of 1 million hours. The E100 SSDs deliver read/write speeds of up to 495MB/s & 385MB/s (120GB model), 515MB/s & 475MB/s (240GB model) and 520MB/s & 480MB/s (480GB model), respectively. The AVEXIR E100 SSDs are backed by a 3-year warranty.

AVEXIR E100 series SSD comes with competitive price and absolutely performance, delivering read/write speeds up to 520MB/s & 480MB/s. It perfectly meets the consumers’ demands for desktops and laptops. Undoubtedly, Avexir E100 series SSD will give you the best experience of high speed for loading application and system boot up. TLC (triple-level cell) NANDs performed quite well on the SSD market for couple of years. AVEXIR E100 series SSD utilized original manufacturer Toshiba 15nm TLC NAND, strictly sorting TLC NAND process and powerful ECC engine correcting (up to 72bit/1KB) to assure the product reliability.

Prices are unannounced yet.

When I read "Toshiba" and "SSD" on the same sentence, I remember the Q300, hope it's not a re-badge version and not the same combination of flash memory and controller.
