ASUS VZ249HEG1R IPS Gaming Monitor has 1 ms response time

ASUS announced it will start handling the 23.8-inch full HD gaming liquid crystal display "VZ249HEG1R" with an IPS panel that supports a high-speed response of 1ms for the domestic market. 

A 23.8-inch full HD gaming liquid crystal display that uses a wide viewing angle IPS panel. The response speed is 1ms, and it is equipped with "ELMB" (Extreme Low Motion Blur) that reduces smear and motion blur. It also supports AMD FreeSync. The main specifications are brightness 250 cd / ㎡, contrast ratio 1,000: 1, color gamut 72% of NTSC, viewing angle horizontal / vertical 178 °, maximum display color of about 16.77 million colors, refresh rate 75 Hz. The interface is equipped with HDMI x1 and D-Sub x1.

The main body size is 539.5 mm in width, 213 mm in depth, 406.5 mm in height, and weighs about 3 kg. The stand supports -5 to 22 ° tilt adjustment.

The title is strange. I thought most new IPS panels have 1 ms response time!

I do and millions of people too. 24+ is too big for my desktop and I don't see any reason to buy bigger screen. Stop with this gatekeeping, really.

I would guess that there should be two type of gamers out there: competitive ones, that use 24/27" monitors, with high refresh rates and immersive gamers that like to have all the eye candy that a display can give and usually use larger ones, maybe even TV's.
