ASUS TUF Gaming GTX 1650 GDDR6 gets original dual fan cooler

Due to GPU shortages, these are making a return into the market. ASUS just re-released the GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR6 graphics card "TUF-GTX1650-O4GD6-P-GAMING" equipped with that original dual-fan cooler.

ASUS TUF Gaming will release the GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR6 graphics card "TUF-GTX1650-O4GD6-P-GAMING" equipped with the original dual fan cooler. The VGA cooler's cooling fan is IP5X compliant and dustproof, and the sleeve bearings use aerospace grade lubricant. In addition, reliability and durability are improved by implementing "Auto Extreme Technology" that completes all soldering in one process and a 144-hour verification program before shipping. The main specifications are core base clock 1,410MHz, boost clock 1,590MHz (1,620MHz in OC mode), memory speed 12Gbps, memory bus width 128bit, equipped with GDDR6 4GB video memory. The output interface is HDMI2.0bx1, DisplayPort1.4x1, DVI-Dx1. The bus interface is PCI-Express3.0 (x16), the auxiliary power connector is 6pin x1, and the external dimensions are 206mm in length, 125mm in depth, and 46mm in thickness.

Best choice is still a second hand RX 570 4GB. It sells for around 40000 Ft ($136 including world-record 27% VAT). And there are tons in the market. I know 1660 is faster, but only by 35%. And it's nearly 4 times more expensive.

Nope . You are mistaken with december maybe or january . Now Used 570 4GB costs around 300 EUR , not THANKS.

420 for a 1660! I'd rather get a cheap second hand card or go without for a couple for months to see what happens.

You can't buy anythign else . Old used cards are even more expensive. ( If there are any)

Yeah as you should either go for a 6800xt, which with a bit of searching can be found for a +25% over the mrsp… not cheap but stil it can make sense, if you have the money.
Or, if you don't want to waste that amount of money on a GPU buy something like the rx570 or even rx470, second hand. At 1080p, they can still play most if not all games resonably well.
Buying in 2021 a 1660 for 400$ is really a waste of money I'm afraid..

In this exact time on Ebay there are a bunch of rx470 around, for 100-150$, not exactly a good deal but still better than 400$ for a 1660, at least in my opinion.

I build "gaming" rig for my friend and i had to go with 1660 GTX for 420 EUR!. Simply becasue there isn't anything to buy , only from scalpers 1000E+ for anything ....

Ouch... You can get Xbox Series X for 500 Eur (or a bit more if you pay scalper prices) and you'll get complete gaming device that will run all the latest games for many years and is like 3x more powerful than GTX1660. Oh yeah there's also Game Pass that's insane gaming value. I really don't understand this blind devotion to PC platform that people are willing to pay 420eur for GTX1660.
