ASUS TUF Gaming Gold PSU series get 10-year warranty and are 12VHPWR compatible

ASUS announced the release of its new TUF Gaming Gold series of ATX power supply units. This series offers a 10-year long-term warranty. 

The series includes three models, the 750W TUF-GAMING-750G, the 850W TUF-GAMING-850G, and the 1,000W TUF-GAMING-1000G. 

The TUF Gaming 750W Gold (model number TUF-GAMING-750G) is an 80PLUS GOLD certified high-efficiency PSU that features a highly durable dual ball bearing fan, military-grade capacitors and choke coils, and PCB coating that protects the board from moisture, dust, and temperature changes. This provides improved reliability and durability, and the PSU comes with a long-term warranty of 10 years.

The TUF Gaming 850W Gold (model number TUF-GAMING-850G) also features a full modular cable system that connects only the necessary items and it has a 12VHPWR connector that can supply power up to 600W. The PSU is equipped with six types of protection circuits: overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), overload protection (OPP), short circuit protection (SCP), and overheat protection (OTP).

The +12V is a single-rail design, and the output is 62A for the 750W model, 70.8A for the 850W model, and 83.3A for the 1,000W model. The power supply standard conforms to ATX 3.0, the body size is 150 mm in width, 150 mm in depth, 86 mm in height, and the body weight is 2.38 to 2.48 kg.
