ASUS To Release ROG RYUJIN II 240 LCS, has 3.5 inch LCD mounted

ASUS To Release ROG RYUJIN II 240 LCS, has 3.5 inch LCD mounted

During its CES event 'for those to dare' presentation, there have been a good number of the new product revealed. One that was hidden away is the second iteration of their LCS, ROG RYUJIN II 240.

The ROG RYUJIN II 240 is catching some attention at the moment due to the fact it's getting teased on their website, and the big news is not the cooling performance, but rather a massive 3.5 inch LCD that displays system stats or custom graphics that's mounted onto the CPU block.

Vieocardz, on their end, noticed that a marketing manager posted a new photo on social media as well. The looks aside from the LCD screen are fairly similar to the previous model, so the biggest 'enhancement' is that LCD screen.

i had the first 360 ryujin and i must say, the armoury crate software made it unbearable, so many problems all the way through. After a few months using it the oled screen had very bad burn in too, i wouldnt bother with it again. Shame as it looked good. Also the silver finish on the screen, i wiped it once and the silver mirror effect wiped off like some cheap paint.

Ended up switching to a corsair aio and a rasp pi 5 inch screen to show temp monitoring which looks better anyway.

Not had issues with mine and have had it about 2 years now, but then i noticed the silver would be a nightmare for finger prints so i make sure not to touch it so never had the need to clean it so far anyway. As i have the claymore Keyboard, Spatha mouse, Strix X570 motherboard and Strix RX2080 i kinda need to use the armory software which can be a little temperamental at times.

Maybe these LCDs that ASUS adds sometime to computer components like this aio and power supplies look cool but in my view they are for many of us useless.
Except if one has his tower sitting on the table where one can look inside the case when gaming.
Otherwise if one has big tower like mine Cooler Master Cosmos C700p you won't bend down the table to look what are temperatures every short while.

I have custom watercooled setup and I do monitoring of water temperature, GPU, CPU temperatures, clocks and water flow rate but for that I use a small LCD that sits on my table. :D

I use Aquacomputer Vision.
