ASUS has announced the release of two gaming notebook models, the "ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402XI" and "ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402XU," featuring a 16-inch WQXGA display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. Both models will be available in Moonlight White and Eclipse Gray color options starting from May 31st.
These gaming notebooks utilize the high-performance "ROG Nebula Display" panel, boasting a brightness of 500nit, a contrast ratio of 1,200:1, and a color gamut of 100% DCI-P3, delivering vivid and lifelike visuals. Additional features include a "MUX switch" that enhances graphics performance by directly outputting GPU signals, a vapor chamber cooling system that maximizes CPU/GPU performance, and a gaming keyboard with N-key rollover support.
Both the "ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402XI" and "ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402XU" come with powerful GPU options. The former is equipped with the GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, while the latter features the GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, both of which are compatible with NVIDIA Optimus Technology.
In terms of specifications, both models share common features such as the Ryzen 9 7940HS CPU, 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory, 512GB SSD storage (PCI Express 4.0 x 4), Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connectivity, and approximately 8.6 hours of battery life. The dimensions of the main body are 312mm in width, 227mm in depth, and the height ranges from 18.5mm to 21.74mm, with a weight of approximately 1.65kg. Windows 11 Home 64-bit edition comes pre-installed.
