ASUS has been introducing a new ROG Swift PG278QR 27-Inch WQHD Gaming Monitor. The GSYNC compatible monitor offers a wide quad HD gaming resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 1ms (GTG) response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles.
The screen comes with ASUS’ Ultra-Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, GamePlus and GameVisual technologies for providing a comfortable gaming experience.

So is this still a TN panel?
I have previous generation of this one, even thou its a TN, unless you sleep below it the view angles and overall quality of image is very good. With only drawback of TN being a bit greyish blacks.
However waiting for 30+ (ideally 32-34) inch 144hz+ IPS 1440p monitor with G-sync.

same here, I got a 24" screen (1080p 1ms 144hz) and even though I don't have g-sync I won't buy a monitor for just 3" difference, if they really want people to start changing their favourite res I think they should start building 1440p/4k monitors big enough for that resolution at an "affordable" price. 1440p@ 27" is still to small imo.
