ASUS ROG Strix XG279Q-G GUNDAM EDITION Monitor

Likely this is a model that will remain available only in the Asia region, but it surely does look interesting from n aesthetic point of view. ROG Strix XG279Q-G GUNDAM EDITION is a Gundam design model that uses a Fast IPS panel.

The refresh rate is 170Hz (overclocking), the response speed is 1ms, and the display synchronization technology has been certified by NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. The main specifications are brightness 400 cd / ㎡, contrast ratio 1,000: 1, display color 16.7 million colors, and viewing angle horizontal/vertical 178 °. The interface is DisplayPort 1.2 x 1, HDMI 2.0x2, USB hub x 2, earphone jack, etc. The external dimensions are 611 mm in width, 270 mm in depth, 422 to 542 mm in height, and 7.0 kg in weight.

enough ppl out there (how about a teen kid getting into gaming) that dont need 240hz on a UHD 49in ultra wide,
and/or dont have the funds for it.
