ASUS ROG Matrix 7970 Graphics Card

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 06/05/2012 03:12 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

The ASUS ROG Matrix 7970 Graphics Card just reared its multi-monitor head in Asia. The ROG (Republic of Gamers) card holds a single GPU.

Armed by a 20 phase Digital VRM the card should be a little tweking marvel. Obviously we expect the card to be factory overclocked, though any information on that has not yet been disclosed. The card will get some nifty features like VGA Hotwire, TweakIT (hardware voltage-speed control using buttons, one-push fan override), ProbeIT (voltage fan-speed monitoring points). The card will have 3GB of GDDR5 graphics memory.
