ASUS Releases ROG Strix Riser Cable

Sometimes you like that graphics card to sit in another position in your (supported) chassis. Riser cables are available in many shapes and forms, but there's an ROG version now as well.

The riser cable is 240 mm long and is compatible up to the PCIe 3.0 x16 standard. A patented SafeSlot PCIe design ensures that the graphics card is securely connected to the PCIe slot. The riser cable uses a special PCB layout to reduce interference. An EMI shielding prevents interference by the manufacturer and power losses.

The Asus ROG Strix Riser Cable is now available at a suggested retail price of 49.90 euros .

HMMM, $55.00 U.S. for a riser you can get on Newegg for $15.00 U.S. Guess it's for brand name buyers.
