ASUS releases GeForce RTX 3090 (2400 USD) and 3070 (999 USD) fitted with EKWB water block
Asus has added two graphics cards under product codes RTX3090-24G-EK and RTX 3070-8G-EK to the stack or deck of cards, both with preinstalled EK Water Blocks water blocks.
We already reported this earlier on in the global press release, however they are now getting available it seems (if you can find and grab one that is). The water block is a full-cover type that cools the GPU, memory, and power supply circuit together, and the nickel-plated copper base improves thermal conductivity. In addition, the backside is equipped with an aluminum backplate that protects the board and is equipped with an illumination function compatible with AURA Sync.
The specifications of "RTX 3090-24G-EK" equipped with GeForce RTX 3090 are GDDR6X 24GB video with core boost clock of 1,695MHz (Gaming Mode) / 1,725MHz (OC Mode), memory speed of 19.5Gbps, memory bus width of 384bit. Equipped with memory. The Output interface is HDMI2.1 x 1, DisplayPort1.4ax3, the auxiliary power connector is 8pinx2, external dimensions are length 216 mm, width 136.2 mm, thickness 19.8 mm, weight 881 g
The specifications of " RTX 3070-8G-EK" equipped with GeForce RTX 3070 are core boost clock 1,725MHz (Gaming Mode) / 1,755MHz (OC Mode), memory speed 14Gbps, memory bus width 256bit, GDDR6 8GB graphics memory. The output interface is HDMI2.1 x 1, DisplayPort1.4ax3, the auxiliary power connector is 12pinx1 (8pinx2 conversion adapter included), and the external dimensions are 209mm in length, 111.5mm in width, 21.5mm in thickness, and 781g in weight.
The advantage here is that these cards have no warranty issues as the block comes factory installed. The 3090 would cost 2400 UER/USD :) and the 3070 is listed at 999 EUR/USD/ Well, luckily that's including tax.

there already was an EK 3090 with two connectors months ago the only difference I see here is the price it wasn't 2400USD in my country it was around 2170USD which was already too much I saw 1-2 in stock at one time but at that time it seemed too expensive for a 2 connector only card
in the end I ended up buying a 2 connector KFA2 for around 2030USD/1700EUR :/ and am waiting for the EK block+backplate featured in the news a few days ago (my pre-order has shipped yesterday)
as soon as they announced the US tariffs I gambled the market would become worse not better so bought a card I did not want but that's all there was to be bought and like a few it was the right choice "all there was" became "nothing" in my country you can't buy any videocard from any brand except trash models

I am out !!! This is the time to show them my behind with the pants OFF ! 2400$ ????
I will buy an Apple MacBook of some form to replace my aging MBPro mid2012 and may even buy a 2nd one, likely a Mac Mini to hook up to my screen and just forget about Windows and gaming all together. For my Windows needs there is VMware Fusion which I am already using if it really needs to be.
You can't buy the right CPU at MSRP, you can't buy a decent GPU at a fair price either....I am riding this 1080ti EK-WB & 8700k to death and that will be IT.
No, you can't just pay this price and go on, time to say " F... YOU" and move to ARM and maybe get a console for the kids as well.
