ASUS Radeon R9 285 Strix Graphics Card
Alongside the Tonga announcement from AMD some photo's showed up on the AMD R9 285 from ASUS, they are releasing a Strix edition graphics card based on the upcoming energy friendly graphics card. The Strix comes with 2GB of GDDR5 graphics memory and has a factory-overclock.
Tonga will keep the basic technologies of the Radeon lineup such as Mantle, TrueAudio and XDMA for CrossFire support. The Radeon R9 285 28 nm "Tonga" GPU has 1,792 Graphics (GCN) CoreNext 1.1 shader processors, 112 TMUs, 32 ROPs. It has a 256-bit wide memory bus. The card will launch 2nd September, 2014 with a sales price of 250 USD / 225 EURO.
