ASUS Radeon R9 280X MATRIX Graphics Card Photo's

There isn't a lot left that apparantly doesn't leak. Photo's just surfaced on the web on a ASUS Radeon R9 280X MATRIX Graphics Card. The 20-phase graphics card has TweakIT and ProbeIT mojo, fan panic switch, and dual BIOS. It looks like the card will be factory-overclocked at a 1100 MHz core, and 6.00 GHz memory. Photo's after the break.

This will be a rebranded 7970 then. Considering the 290x will be at 800mhz they are obviously completely different chips. So new generation and only one new chip, brilliant.

I got one of these last year it was so so but the 280 should be cheaper then i paid for it.

Same nvidia did with GTX770 (aka GTX680), this just a 7970. Let's hope prices will be lower.

Not the same, that was a refresh while this is supposed to be a new generation.

even if this is 3 slots most mobo's can still accommodate 2 of these I don't know many people that would want more anyways 3rd card is usually wasted anyways.

I have sound card in between my SLI. I doubt it would fit if I had two of those
