ASUS Radeon HD 5770 Cucore

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/14/2009 04:23 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

ASUS is releasing it's own version of the Radeon HD 5770 labeled with Cucore. The Cucore is equipped with a self designed cooler and custom PCB.

ASUS apparently used a lot more copper in the PCB and cooler base plate with the result of 11& better cooling. Unfortunately the clock frequencies remain the same at 850 MHz for the core and 4800 MHz on the GDDR5 memory. Connectivity wise you will spot a HDMI, DVI and D-Sub connector.

ASUS delivers the product with smart Docter software which allows a little voltage tweaking as well:

  • Exclusive Voltage Tweak Technology to increase extra performance!
  • Exclusive 5.8oz Copper Rod (CuCore) Cooler
