ASUS P8P67 Deluxe Sandy bridge mobo preview
In today's article we'll show you a very lovely offering from ASUS as we'll preview their upcoming P8P67 Deluxe Sandy bridge ready motherboard.
This motherboard is using a 16+2 phases (digital) design cooled by Guru3D blue'ish heatsinks. Of course features like SATA 6G and USB 3 are available as well, and guess what, the board supports SLI and Crossfire, albeit in a x8:x8 configuration. There even is a 3rd mechanical x16 slot though that one is limited at x4 PCE lanes (still handy for a PhysX card). What's going to be big for this motherboard is that it does not have a BIOS anymore, at least not in the traditional way that we know it. This will be one of the first motherboards with the all new EFI BIOS.
