ASUS Designo MZ27AQ 27-Inch WQHD Monitor w/ Harman Kardon 12W Speakers

ASUS added a 27-inch WQHD monitor to their line-up tagged under product code Designo MZ27AQ. The display has a nice frameless, ultra-slim design. The screen is fitted with a 27-inch IPS LED-backlight monitor sporting a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The unit offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio (ASCR 100 million:1) and has 350 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms (GTG) response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles and fills 100%(sRGB).

Utilizing the Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light technologies to ensure a comfortable viewing experience, the Designo MZ27AQ comes equipped with Harman Kardon 12W stereo speakers w/ an external 5W subwoofer for 2.1-channel audio and provides 2x HDMI 1.4 and 2x DisplayPort input ports. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.
