Asus notebooks to combine Ryzen 3000 and Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti

Typically a laptop with a GeForce graphics runs on Intel, and Radeon with AMD. Well, a new leak indicates that to be different. as Asus would be combining AMD (Picasso) with Nvidia Turing. References to this have been found in the 3DMark database.

Asus would combine the new AMD processors with a GPU from Nvidia's Turing generation. The mentioned entry in the online database of the 3DMark shows an Asus FX505DU with Ryzen 5 3550H and GeForce GTX 1660 Ti as well as an Asus GU502DU with Ryzen 7 3750H and the same GTX 1660 Ti however as Max-Q-Design.

The new AMD APUs have been officially announced ever since January, Nvidia did not officially launch the notebook version of the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Ergo, the specifications of the mobile GTX 1660 Ti are not yet known, but they could match up to the GPU clock of the desktop variant because the other Turing GPUs for notebooks are based on lower clocked chips of the desktop counterparts. Whether or when the discovered Asus laptops with Picasso and Turing reach the etail, is currently unknown.
