ASUS Launches New Gaming Laptops: ROG Zephyrus G14 and TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition
ASUS has unveiled its latest gaming laptops - the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402X / GA402N) and TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition (FA617).
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is a powerful machine, equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 9-7940HS processor, up to 32GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 notebook GPU with up to 125W TGP. The Nebula HDR display boasts a 165Hz refresh rate and 100 percent DCI-P3 color space coverage, making it ideal for HDR gaming. The 14-inch display is also available in Full HD at 144Hz, both with 600 nits peak brightness and 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. The laptop features an AniMe Matrix LED system for customizable lighting options. The ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402X / GA402N) is available for purchase from 2,499 euros (ex. VAT).
The TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition (FA617) features the latest AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor and 16GB of fast 4800MHz RAM. Its up to AMD Radeon RX 7700S graphics card with AMD Smart Access Graphics, in combination with the 16-inch WQXGA display with a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 and a refresh rate of 240Hz with a 3ms response time, ensures a seamless gaming experience. The laptop also features 84-blade Arc Flow fans and up to seven heat pipes and four exhaust vents to efficiently draw heat out of the system. Its military-inspired Sandstorm colourway adds to its aesthetic appeal. The TUF Gaming A16 (FA617) is available for purchase from 1,599 euros (ex. VAT).
Both laptops offer powerful specs and excellent gaming experiences, with the ROG Zephyrus G14 geared towards high-end gaming, and the TUF Gaming A16 designed for endurance and productivity.

When you hear somebody say "its the same as the desktop version" and you are like nah mate, power draw and thermals say otherwise.
I'd go for a 4070 version at most, nice balance of power and power draw.
