ASUS Launches M.2 SSD Case 'TUF Gaming A1' – Robust and Resistant to Dust and Water
ASUS announced it will sell a new M.2 SSD case, "TUF Gaming A1". The product is set to hit the market on June 2, with an anticipated retail price of 45 euros.
The TUF Gaming A1, designed to be robust, features both dust and water resistance compliant with IP68, in addition to drop resistance as per MIL-STD-810H. The internal SSD supports both SATA and NVMe. Furthermore, thanks to ASUS's familiar Q-Latch structure, it enables tool-less mounting of the M.2 SSD. The external interface of the TUF Gaming A1 comprises a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with a bandwidth of 10Gbps, and it is compatible with M.2 2242/2260/2280 form factors. The dimensions of the product are 54.27mm in width, 125.28mm in depth, and 13.3mm in height, weighing 142g. It is compatible with operating systems from Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6 onwards
