ASUS AGESA 1.0.0.6 Firmware Surfaces
With the pending release of APUs and XT processors from AMD, as well as a B550 we all have been expecting a new series of firmware. And in fact, more recently we already mentioned that AMD is hard at work with AGESA 1.0.0.5 and a ComboAM4 v2 1.0.0.0. Well, let's make things a little more confusing, AGESA 1.0.0.6 has been spotted.
AGESA 1.0.0.6 comes as a surprize, but was posted in several forums by ASUS'es Shamino, the BETA revision BIOS is numbered 3101. Little is known about ComboAM4 1.0.0.6 really, the Beta BIOS 3101 for Crosshair VII Hero however enables per-CCX overclocking, so that means with 8-core Ryzen processors you can tweak four cores on one CCX to say 4300 MHz whilst the others are clock lower. It's an interesting feature.
Otherwise little is known about the new AGESA update.

I have per CCX clock in BIOS with 1.0.0.4 already. What I do not have is per CCX voltage. Voltage is not adjustable even per CCD.

Many motherboard manufacturers haven't released 1005 yet.....
The reason is that AGESA 1.0.0.5 has some serious bugs going on.
I don’t know how MSI made them work relatively stable but also most of the 1.0.0.5 releases from MSI are beta’s for a reason.
That’s why most manufacturers won’t bother right now, we’ll get AGESA 1.0.0.6 BIOSes soon enough, let’s just hope AMD won’t mess it up this time.

1.0.0.6?
My Asus x370 Prime Pro hasn't even gotten 1.0.0.4 yet. Last update for that board was 9/24/2019, kinda lame.
