ASUS adds Broadwell-E support to X99 series motherboards
Just like the rest of the manufacturers ASUS now also has added support for what they carefully call Core i7 X-Series processors, obviously this is added support for Broadwell-E processors that will likely launch next month. The Broadwell-E flagship should become a 10-core processor.

Same here, im still on the 1004 BIOS, which i only put on as i had a Xonar DX, but the card didn't work on it anyway for some reason

i just updated my bios today 3004 for my asus x99 deluxe after a few min my GPU started acting up showings lines my pc freezing restarting i downgraded to 2101 bios again everything back to normal i will not update no more learn my lesson

I am interested in how much faster will these be clock for clock in singlecore then my current cpu. Since I want something new.

I wouldn't bother with bios updates unless it's something like this, where you have to do it in order to support the new hardware. I had enough headaches in the past, so when I get a BIOS where my system+OC is stable, I just stick with it.
