ASRock Z690M-ITX / ax mini-ITX motherboard with 2.5G LAN and Wi-Fi 6E.

A Mini-ITX motherboard based on the Intel Z690 chipset and equipped with a Realtek "Dragon RTL8125BG" 2.5 gigabit LAN controller as well as Wi-Fi 6E wireless LAN functionality. Intel's LGA1700 socket is used for all current 12th generation Intel Core CPUs.

Using an 8-phase design, the power supply circuit is comprised of a 50A DrMOS, a premium power choke, and a Nichicon 12K black capacitor. It also makes use of eight layers of high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure consistent signal tracing and power supply.

The major specifications include a DDR4-5000 + x2 memory slot (with a maximum capacity of 64GB), SATA3.0 (6Gbps) x4 storage slot, Hyper M.2 x 2 storage, and an M.2 slot with a dedicated heat sink called "M.2 ARMOR." It is provided with. In addition to the standard expansion slots, there is a vertical M.2 slot (with wireless card inserted) and a PCI-Express 5.0 (x16) slot.

Furthermore, the USB3.2 Gen.2 x 2 Type-C port has two ports, one on the front and one on the back, and has a bandwidth of 20 Gbps. Additionally, the network is equipped with 2.5 gigabit LAN as well as Wi-Fi 6E wireless LAN, as well as gigabit LAN powered by an Intel processor, and the audio chip is a Realtek AL897. It also has support for Nahimic Audio.

Priced right, it will be a serious candidate for SFF or HTPC builds.

The vrms look anemic for mid to high end stuff i am 90% sure this motherboard will struggle with 125 watts load and throttle to the hell and back with 250 watts.

Horrible choice for a z690, everything from ASRock is just pure shait, i had nothing but problems with all of their cheap products, never again.
Want a good MB with lots of features and a great overclocker? Go for the MSI Pro Z690-A, 14+2-phase design, fantastic MB with tons of features, currently running my 12600k at 5.15ghz on all P-cores and 4.1ghz on all E-cores with AVX offset at 0., at 1.33v with zero issues stable as a rock, paid only 199 USD for it.

Because it is, 8-phase design is a joke when trying to keep the 12 series Intel chips running even slightly beyond their specifications, but then again ASRock has never been a good and stable overclocking motherboard, not even their top end product.
When the resizable bar was introduced, all MB makers updated their bios within days, ASRock was the last, took them weeks, and even then it did not work how it was supposed to.
There is a great review on Hardware Unboxed site of a lot of the ASRock products and they are being slammed mercilessly for their cheap vrm's, lack of features, instability, poor workmenship, bad overclocking and ridiculous pricing compared to many other better brand motherboards.

They are also 50 amps phases if they where 70 or higher with at least some cooling i would have been a bit more confident in that vrm. 8 phases can be more than fine especially if it is all for the cpu , the 8 phases we see here are not all for the cpu 1 phase is for the ram and 1 to 3 of those for the igp ... Most likely just 1 so this is 6+1+1 vrm most likely .... That said for an i3 will be more than fine
