ASRock offers HYPER QUAD M.2 CARD as PCIe 4.0 compatible M.2 expansion card

ASRock released a M.2 SSD expansion card called HYPER QUAD M.2, compatible with PCI-Express 4.0 it will be available in the domestic market.

This expansion card that can mount four NVMe M.2 SSDs with PCI-Express4.0 (x4) connection. The connection interface is PCI-Express4.0 (x16), and the SSD form factor corresponds to M.2 2242/2260/2280/22110.

It includes a cooling system that combines a 50mm fan, a large aluminum cover, and a 110mm long thermal pad to cool the NVMe M.2 SSD that generates a lot of heat is used. The fan speed can be adjusted, and it can be used for systems that emphasize quiet acoustics.

The four M.2 slots are arranged at a 45° angle, not horizontally or vertically. This allows traces to be kept as short and linear as possible, increasing stability and minimizing performance degradation. Other features include a dip switch for simultaneous use of up to four cards, a dedicated utility for monitoring card information and adjusting the fan speed, and an "Activity LED" for checking SSD access status. The supported platforms are AMD TRX40 / X399 and Intel X299 (Gen 3.0), and the auxiliary power connector is 6pinx1.

6pin power connector seems redundant. Even with the newest craziest m.2 drives that arent even released (samsung 980 pro) pulling less than 10 watts each and a 2 watt fan, you can safely pull all that juice from the pci-e socket. Hope you can run this without the power connector. Absolutely not necessary.
