ASRock would be releasing no less than thirteen different motherboard models based on the forthcoming Intel Z790 chipset, the best chipset choice for the 13th Generation Core "Raptor Lake" desktop CPUs. 

Since both generations use the same Socket LGA1700, "Raptor Lake" motherboards are compatible with Intel's 600-series chipset motherboards, and the Z790 is also projected to work with Intel's 12th-generation Core "Alder Lake" CPUs.

The Z790 Taichi and its white-marble finished counterpart, the Z790 Taichi Carrara, lead ASRock's range. The company also offers a number of Phantom Gaming (PG) series models, such as the PG Riptide and PG-ITX/TB4, as well as newer additions like the PG Sonic and PG Lightning.
