Asrock GPUs seem to be the cheapest ones of all manufacturers by a fair margin. The cooler in the pictures is adequate performance wise and neatly fitted in place. More expensive models will surely offer much better cooling and longer warranty, since Asrock only offers two years. This Asrock card if cheap enough will serve me fine, but I wish there will be no coil whine. Coil whine is an issue manufacturers should try to nullify completely. Most likely Asrock has done nothing to prevent it.
For those who want a reasonably silent card at load I would not recommend the XT variant of this Asrock card; beefier cooler is required.

Ah ASRock, the company you buy from when you're okay with buying alpha stage experimental hardware which may be good or a complete catastrophe. And as is standard for mobo manufacturers, no actual support to speak of.
...... I'd buy from them again. It's not like the others are better.
How long have they been in the video card market?

I think the name Challenger is a metaphor for what happened to AMD fan's hopes and dreams with these new cards only to have them dashed by nVidia's Super cards.
It means card can challange nvidia super cards and costs less.

I am surprised at the tardiness of AIBs. Being first w/ an alternative to blower models HAS to be a great sales opportunity.

Navi needs AIB cards like now! Those blower cards are AIDS.
