A number of games will be to a certain extent but not all, saying that i've been gaming since I was 13 (30 now) and a number of games seem too easy because they all follow a similar formula that gamers have had years to perfect. How do you know were just not getting smarter in our old age ;)

This. BEST games were between 1995 to mid 2000....

Soon after that they went downhill, there have been VERY few decent releases.
