Arctic Launches Specific Freezer 33 model for Threadripper CPUs
Arctic has announced a Freezer 33 model dedicated to Threadripper CPUs. To do so they created more surface area coverage on the direct touch heatpipes. This model will be called the Freezer 33 TR .
The Freezer 33TR is equipped with a PWM controlled 120 mm cooling fans and offset heat pipes to ensure optimal heat dissipation. The low footprint of the Freezer 33 avoids interference with the RAM, even if there are two fans used. The Freezer 33 TR is an updated version of the award-winning Freezer 33 and specially designed for the new AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPU. The base of the heatsink has been enlarged to fit the massive AMD SocketTR4 and, equipped with a BioniX F120 fan, it pushes the cooling performance further to cope with the 180W TDP of the AMD Ryzen. The Freezer 33 TR is the perfect CPU cooling solution for enthusiasts who want to build High-End Desktop Computer on a budget.
Main Features Freezer 33 Series
- Offset heat pipes ensure optimal heat dissipation
- Improved fan controller made in Germany
- Anti-vibration rubbers for quiet operation
- Installation in all four directions possible
- Transport-proof mounting with backplate
- MX-4 thermal paste included
Arctic will sell the product in both a red and white accent version.

Won't change a thing. But it's nice to see you, again, in a thread, trying to say it does, when you've been told it doesn't. That's cool.

the only thing, besides the mounting, that they don't have in common is the fan. The rest is pretty much the same or exactly the same.

PS. Hyper 212 EVO is a bad cooler, the body is too small, short fins etc. Regular Hyper 212 is much better. Let's hope they (Arctic)
went with those kind of fins at least.
