Intel Arc Alchemist graphics cards will not be available in the first quarter of 2022. Intel is anticipated to provide further details about the portfolio at PAX East, and low-end mobile SKUs may be released initially.

The release of the graphics cards looks to have been postponed until Q2 of 2022, with a few paper releases slated earlier. Intel could however provide more information on the Arc lineup at PAX East, which begins on April 21. AIBs are expected to get samples of the desktop cards in March/April.

A post from intel denoted this:

Intel will ship add-in cards for desktops in the second quarter and workstations by the third quarter. Architecture work has begun on Celestial, a product that will address the ultra-enthusiast segment.

So. First, the line of mobile video adapters will be delivered – in the first quarter of 2022 (it will accompany the 12-generation Core processor series (Alder Lake-H), which debuted at the recent CES 2022). Arc Alchemist mobile GPUs will be followed by desktop counterparts in the second quarter of 2022, with professional workstation accelerators following in the third quarter. The Intel Arc launch looks to have been pushed back due to driver issues, which have plagued Intel for a long time. Over the past several years, OEMs have frequently presented their best products first, followed by their entry-level selections. By delivering the entry-level Intel Arc graphics cards first, Intel looks to have flipped this on its head. The top-of-the-line model, with 512 EUs and 16 GB of VRAM and competing with the GeForce RTX 3070, is scheduled to be launched after April.

Intel intends to provide more than four million discrete graphics cards to the market by the end of 2022, and then to actively grow shipments year after year. Intel anticipates that the GPU market will reach $10 billion by 2026. reaffirmed its commitment to the plan to regain leadership in the processor market by 2025.
